National Account Manager

The UK business is undergoing exciting commercial expansion, investing heavily in customer partnerships, portfolio optimisation, and market access capabilities. The National Account Manager will play a critical role in driving this momentum whilst progressing at the company and ensuring your portfolio leads the generics market.
Role Requirements
Take full ownership of key National & Regional Generic Wholesaler and retail accounts.
Build and execute commercial account plans to deliver year-on-year sales and margin growth.
Track sales performance, market trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
Provide accurate market intelligence and customer insight to internal teams.
Work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Customer Services, Finance, Scientific Affairs, Business Development, and Hospital/CCG teams.
Support accurate forecasting, stock management and end-to-end service excellence.
Identify risks, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement in account performance.
Person Specifications
Extremely strong experience working in the generic pharmaceutical industry at National Account level.
Essential experience managing national generic wholesalers.
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of UK generics market dynamics.
Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategy.
Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration capability.
IT-competent, detail-driven and proactive.
Package
£55k-75k basic salary.
Full Package TBC.
