Role Requirements
Drive regional sales performance by exceeding revenue and system placement targets across all product lines.
Develop and execute a strategic regional sales plan, supporting product launches and maintaining strong market presence.
Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to adjust strategies and capitalise on opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, meeting visit targets, conducting business reviews, and managing tenders and demonstrations.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, submit timely monthly reports, and keep CRM records fully updated.
Represent the company at industry exhibitions and meetings, delivering presentations and promoting products professionally.
Person Specifications
A degree or relevant professional qualification in a scientific field such as Biomedical Sciences, Cellular Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Haematology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related Life Sciences subject.
Knowledge of the practical application of pathology, ideally gained through direct work experience in an NHS clinical laboratory.
A minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience, ideally selling high-value products on a capital or reagent rental basis into NHS clinical laboratories.
Proven success in navigating complex sales cycles and closing deals.
Strong numeracy, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
Excellent communication skills-both written and spoken-with the ability to connect with people at all levels.
Strong planning, organizational capabilities, and attention to detail.
Full UK driving licence.
