Role Overview
Lead UK market entry and growth across hospital accounts. You will drive formulary inclusion, build credible NHS relationships, and ensure patients gain access to key treatments through focused, well-executed commercial strategy.

Role Requirements
Market Access & Formulary Strategy: Lead local access plans, develop and submit formulary dossiers, and work with medicines management teams to address barriers and support patient pathways.
Marketing Strategy: Shape brand plans, messaging, and positioning aligned to therapy area needs.
Pre-Launch & Launch Execution: Own launch planning and delivery against agreed timelines and budgets.
Hospital Tenders: Manage UK tender activity, coordinating internally to support participation and competitive submissions.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitors, market trends, and patient pathways to inform decisions.
Performance Tracking: Set and track KPIs, manage P&L, and report on commercial performance.
Person Specifications
12–15 years’ experience across pharmaceutical commercial, marketing, or senior sales/access roles in the UK.
Strong understanding of NHS structures including ICBs, Trusts, APCs, and funding flows.
Proven success securing hospital and regional formulary inclusion.
Established secondary care network with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
Experience translating data into clear value propositions for payers and formulary decision-makers.
Background in complex therapy areas such as Neurology or Oncology.
ABPI qualified with a solid understanding of UK compliance.
Experience in hospital tendering, procurement, and commercial negotiation.
