3M Health Care reveals what clinicians think of wound management
A new survey of clinicians who specialise in the care of wounds has revealed some of the problems they face, according to 3M Health Care.
Almost 70 per cent of those surveyed said it was “extremely important” to have compatible products working well together, while 34 per cent they can find it confusing when trying to find the right product for a patient’s needs. A further 94 per cent said that a product’s effectiveness is of paramount importance.
Additionally, nearly all of the correspondents felt that cutting-edge technology was important for wound dressings.
Kristen Comstock, 3M Health Care’s marketing manager, said: “The survey results reinforce that clinicians are looking for better wound care solutions that can make their jobs easier as they strive for optimal patient outcomes.”
“At 3M, we are dedicated to providing highly effective wound care solutions that are easy to use. We listen to our customers and leverage our research and development expertise to advance wound care technology and bring new solutions to market,” she added.
