3M re-launches Cavilon skin care product line

10th November 2010

3M has announced the re-launch of its Cavilon range of professional skin care products, which is being reintroduced with updated branding and new product offerings.

The range, which is known for the Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film product, will be expanded later this year with an antifungal cream designed to address conditions such as athlete's foot, jock itch and ringworm.

Further new launches will follow in 2011, with enhanced formulations, additional product sizes and new user-friendly delivery options among the innovations planned.

The manufacturer states that caregivers and clinicians have been consulted over the re-launch, which will also see its Cavilon products receive updated packaging for clearer identification.

Marcello Napol, global business director at 3M Skin and Wound Care, said: "We understand the demands on healthcare professionals today. Making sure that we help caregivers quickly reach for the right product for the right situation is an important part in being a trusted partner."

Earlier this month, 3M announced its third quarter financial results, reporting a year-on-year growth in its healthcare product sales.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800228296-ADNFCR
