A new nutritional webinar released on BSAVA

To accompany the online BSAVA Guide to Nutrition, a new webinar, ‘The essential ingredients of a good nutritional recommendation’, has been added to the BSAVA Library, which evaluates the current situation, assessment of evidence quality for diet claims, as well as the critical aims of nutritional recommendation.

RNV, Georgia Woods, covers the main points that should be considered when providing nutritional recommendation to an owner of a pet.

The new BSAVA Guide to Nutrition can be obtained exclusively via the BSAVA Library for £25 and £15 for BSAVA members. Also, Mrs Wood’s webinar is accessible through the BSAVA Webinar Library.

Mrs Woods stated: “Nutrition discussions with clients can be challenging, not least given the plethora of diets available for pets. This webinar aims to cover the main points to support an evidence based decision making process to help vets engage owners in a meaningful discussion about nutrition and provide guidance on the most suitable diet for their pet.”
