Abcam is celebrating its tenth birthday this month.
The antibody manufacturer was set up in 1998 by Jonathan Milner a Cambridge University lab worker and has since expanded to offices in the US and Japan employing nearly 200 staff.
It claims to have a catalogue of more than 40,000 products and in December 2006 launched a website dedicated to its business operations in Japan.
A company statement said some of the most noticeable changes to the company over the past ten years have been to the design of its website.
"We have always aimed to make it as easy as possible for you to find the products and services you need and we continue to work on improvements today," it added.
The firm claims its scientists are dedicated to building the "largest" online catalogue of the "best" antibodies in the world.
Company founder Mr Milner believes the firm has come a long way from its "humble beginnings".
