Advanced Cell Diagnostics and Leica to co-market new assay solution

Advanced Cell Diagnostics has announced a new collaboration with Leica Biosystems that will bring two of their products together to form a single comprehensive assay solution.

The company will be marketing its RNAscope LS in situ hybridisation (ISH) assays alongside with Leica's Bond RX research staining platform to create an integrated and fully automated ISH solution.

Bringing these two products together will deliver a fast, high-throughput workflow with exceptional consistency and minimal hands-on time, while further adding to the utility of the RNAscope assays.

Since their introduction three years ago, they have been adopted across the globe by major pharmaceutical biotech companies and leading research institutions.

Dr Yuling Luo, president and chief executive officer of Advanced Cell Diagnostics, said: "We are very pleased to work with Leica Biosystems to expand our automated RNAscope solutions in response to the needs of our rapidly growing customer base."

This comes after the firm received ISO 13485:2003 certification for its RNAscope range of diagnostic tests in Europe earlier this month.
