Advanced Cell Diagnostics selects Aquila-Histoplex as certified service provider

Advanced Cell Diagnostics has named contract research organisation Aquila-Histoplex as its first accredited RNAscope certified service provider in Europe.

The firm, which specialises in histological and multiplex staining technologies, can boast more than two years of experience of performing Advanced Cell Diagnostics's RNAscope assay for academic and commercial research sector.

Advanced Cell Diagnostics' certified service provider programme is a collaborative partnership scheme dedicated to ensuring the delivery of the highest-quality RNA in-situ hybridisation data available using the RNAscope assay.

The product offers robust single RNA molecule detection for formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue, offering quantitative molecular detection with morphological context in a single assay.

Dr Steve Chen, chief operating officer of Advanced Cell Diagnostics, said: "Aquila-Histoplex has demonstrated superior knowledge on performing the RNAscope assay and we are pleased to announce them as our first European certified service provider."

This comes after the company allied with Leica Biosystems to co-market a new fully automated RNA in situ hybridisation assay solution earlier this year.
