Agilent names new head of human resources
Agilent has announced the appointment of Dominique Grau as its new senior vice-president for human resources, effective as of August 1st 2014.
Mr Grau will take up the position on the same day that Agilent completes the spin-off of its electronic measurement business, Keysight Technologies, with the two companies to begin conducting business separately from August onwards.
He has been appointed as the successor to Jean Halloran, who has announced plans to retire at the end of the fiscal year on October 31st.
William Sullivan, president and chief executive officer of Agilent, said: "His contributions to Agilent have already been significant and I am very pleased he will lead one of the most important functions in the company."
Ms Halloran has been in charge of human resources at Agilent since the formation of the company 14 years ago. She has been credited with playing a key role in its success since this time.
Following her retirement, she will serve as a member of the board of directors of the newly-independent Keysight Technologies.
