Agilent releases new Microplate Labeller
Agilent has launched a new product on to the scientific instruments market – its Microplate Labeller.
The equipment is designed to deliver automated on-demand and barcode print-and-apply applications in life science laboratories.
It merges the easy-to-integrate form factor, proven label applicator and speed of the previous model, but also features a thermal label printer, allowing for 600 dpi resolution, a selection of 1D and 2D coding symbologies and clear images, according to the firm.
Nitin Sood, general manager of the organisation, stated: "Authentic Agilent automation-certified labels with application-matched ribbons guarantee the highest level of system performance as well as superior instrument and applications support."
A tensioned peeling system ensures that label backings remain firm, while the device’s small size allows it to fit easily on to the top of a laboratory bench.
At the close of last month, Agilent unveiled another product – the SVM3500 – a quad-channel 12-bit digitiser allowing channel interleaving to provide sampling up to 2 GS/s.
