Agilent Technologies adds to Infiniium 9000 Series

1st June 2009

Agilent Technologies has added six new models to its range of mixed-signal and digital-storage oscilloscopes.

The manufacturer said the equipment would form part of its next-generation Infiniium 9000 Series offerings and would provide a host of benefits for laboratories.

Equipped with true analog bandwidths of up to 4 GHz, the scopes provide what Agilent describe as "the broadest measurement capability" and integrated logic and protocol analysis is also a feature of the devices.

In addition, the 15-inch XGA LCD display – the largest of its type currently on the market – is available in a "highly portable package".

Adrian Hernandez, hardware development engineer at Xilinx Corp, said introducing the new oscilloscopes to its own facilities could aid its own product development processes.

"With three instruments in a single box […] the Infiniium 9000 Series represents a significant advancement in debugging systems," he added.

Agilent will showcase some of its latest design and measurement products at the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium 2009 in Boston from June 7th.
