Agilent Technologies launches nScope eMRI system

14th May 2012

Agilent Technologies has announced the launch of a new preclinical MRI system that offers greater ease of use than previous models.

The nScope eMRI preclinical imaging system has been unveiled at the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine annual meeting, featuring an enhanced interface and redesigned workflow to make the process as simple as possible.

Its optimised packages uniquely align with specific user requirements, while other beneficial features include its integrated specimen life support, precise laser-guided sample positioning and ergonomic operation.

Agilent has created the new product by refining a former design from Varian, with the aim of making the imaging aspect of medical research more straightforward than ever before.

Regina Schuck, vice-president for Agilent Research Products, said: "This new product is a key step forward in Agilent's commitment to being a leader in the field of life sciences."

Last month, the company announced a deal to acquire the test and measurement business of Centellax as it seeks to further expand its clinical capabilities.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801362611-ADNFCR
