Agilent Technologies names new members of Keysight board
Agilent Technologies has announced the appointment of Paul Clark and James Cullen to the board of directors of its new spinoff Keysight Technologies.
These director appointments are set to become effective concurrently with, or shortly before, the completion of the Keysight spinoff, which is currently targeted for early November 2014. Mr Clark is expected to become chairman of Keysight's board.
Both Mr Clark and Mr Cullen are currently members of the Agilent board and will continue to serve in this capacity until the spinoff occurs. They have extensive experience of managing large companies.
Ron Nersesian, Keysight's president and chief executive officer, said: "Both have been key members of the Agilent board and possess an excellent understanding of Keysight's business."
Agilent announced in September 2013 that it will be separating into two publicly traded companies, with its current portfolio of electronic measurement products to operate under the Keysight name.
Meanwhile, its existing life sciences, diagnostics and applied markets operations will continue to trade as Agilent.
