Agilent Technologies receives industry innovation awards for various products

Agilent Technologies has announced that several of its lab offerings have received awards for their innovative qualities.

The Analytical Scientist magazine has recognised a number of Agilent's products as being among the most innovative of the year, with winners chosen by a panel of experts, including members of the magazine's editorial advisory board and editorial staff.

Agilent offerings featured in the list of the top 15 innovations included the Ultivo Triple Quadrupole LC/MS system and the Agilent 1260 Infinity II Prime LC, two liquid chromatography offerings that provide a number of benefits over existing devices.

The Agilent Captiva Enhanced Matrix Removal-Lipid technology was also honoured for the advantages it provides in simplifying workflows and reducing sample preparation steps.

Monty Benefiel, Agilent's vice-president and general manager of Agilent's mass spectrometry division, said: "At Agilent, we continually strive to help laboratory scientists be more successful by delivering innovation that matters in the form of leading-edge products across a variety of uses."
