Agilent Technologies updates ELN system
Agilent Technologies has announced changes to its Kalabie electronic lab notebook (ELN) system.
The company revealed the 4.0 version of the technology will include a host of new functions designed to improve the decision-making process, as well as help with the management of analytical requests.
In addition, the changes should be able to allow better collaboration between colleagues and departments.
Tony Owen, Agilent Technologies’ director of software and services marketing, said the improvements place high value on integrated instrument and ELN functionality.
"While the instrument side of Agilent helps them generate more and better data, our lab informatics side of the business streamlines the documentation and management of that data," he added.
This week, the company also announced details of a long-term partnership with Davis Calibration to provide measurement equipment and solutions to over 35 locations in Canada and the US.
