Agilent Technologies wins award for outstanding customer service

Agilent Technologies has been presented with the 2016 Reviewers' Choice Award for Customer Service by SelectScience.

It marks the second consecutive year that reviewers from SelectScience – an independent expert-led scientific review incorporating input from scientists around the world – have recognised Agilent with this accolade.

The winners were announced earlier this month at Pittcon 2016, the world's largest annual conference and exposition on laboratory science, in Atlanta. These awards have been held annually since 2007 to allow scientists to share their opinions on the best laboratory products.

Doug McDougall, vice-president and general manager for Agilent's CrossLab services and support division, said: "It's an honour to have customers cast their vote for Agilent. Our focus is to continue to deliver the insights customers need to achieve even better outcomes in their labs."

The company recently announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2016, during which it generated a revenue total of $1.03 billion (724.89 million pounds).
