Agilent U1084A Acqiris high-speed data converter launched

5th August 2009

Agilent has launched a new PCI Express (PCIe) high-speed data acquisition card with on-board field-programmable gate array for use in real-time data processing.

The Agilent U1084A Acqiris high-speed data converter is able to leverage the performance of the company’s cutting-edge technology and expertise to meet the most demanding of requirements.

According to the company, the tool’s PCIe form factor and flexible architecture mean that it is "ideal" for use in scientific instrumentation, medical imaging, non-destructive testing and the validation of mixed-signal semiconductors in automated test hardware.

"The U1084A is a dual-channel, 8-bit PCIe digitiser card with up to 4 GS/s sampling rates, 1.5 GHz bandwidth and incorporates a 15 ps trigger time interpolator for accurate timing measurement," the firm concluded.

In recent days the company announced support for 1xEV-DO enhanced high-rate packet data in Agilent 8960 wireless communication test sets running the Agilent E6706C lab application program.ADNFCR-1050-ID-19298315-ADNFCR
