Agilent unveils 709-DS Dissolution Apparatus
Agilent has made a new addition to its laboratory product portfolio with the launch of the 709-DS Dissolution Apparatus.
Designed to test the release profile of many dosage forms, the tool features a bath-free design to provide an unobstructed view of the dissolution vessel.
It uses the same platform as Agilent's 708-DS product, with Direct Vessel Heating capabilities to reduce media heating time and increase efficiency.
"The 709-DS Dissolution Apparatus offers peace of mind for researchers in quality assurance and quality control," said Agilent's director of marketing for dissolution testing Allan Little.
He highlighted the device's "unmatched flexibility and time-saving capabilities", which include the ability to automatically read the temperature of each sample before, during and after a dissolution run.
An interactive demo of the new dissolution testing platform is available on the Agilent website.
The firm recently celebrated being named one of the greenest companies in the US by Newsweek, which ranked the firm at number 11 in its annual evaluation of environmental performance.
