AhE to invest 10 billion dollars to support 25 Global Actions by 2025 pledge

AnimalhealthEurope (AhE) have recently revealed that they will be investing over ten billion dollars to support HealthforAnimals’ 25 Global Actions by 2025 pledge, which is part of a world-wide roadmap to reduce the need for antibiotics in animals through disease prevention and control, earlier detection of illness and quicker and more precise treatment. To this end, AhE will invest their money in providing training to over one-hundred thousand vets in responsible use of medicines, veterinary education as well as research and development which will result in the provision of twenty new diagnostic tools, over one hundred new vaccines and other measures to protect animals from disease by 2025.
