Directors’ Report
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

The company is a speciality biopharmaceutical and medical device firm which commercialises products for the neurosciences, ophthalmology, medical aesthetics and other speciality markets.

Allergan is dedicated to delivering value to its customers, improving people’s lives and satisfying unmet medical needs.

BUSINESS REVIEW – Year ended December 31st 2007

The balance sheet indicates the company’s financial position at the end of the year, in net asset terms, has improved from restated net assets of £9,466,000 in 2006 to £13,258,000 in 2007.

Charitable donations in the year amounted to £34,797. No political donations were made.

RESULTS
The company’s turnover has increased by a total of 34 per cent from £38,509,000 in 2006 to £51,536,000 in 2007. Profit after tax has improved from a restated profit of £1,750,000 to £2,541,000.
