Altis Labs Uses $6M Finance for AI Nota Technology
The AI driven software company, Altis Labs, has recently engaged in their first stage funding round to optimize and grow their technological capabilities.
The funding was supported by Debiopharm Innovation Fund and Benchstrength (previously under General Catalyst), but also featured individuals including Verana Health’s Chief Exec, Doug Foster, and OM1’s Founder, Richard Gliklich.
They plan to use the $6 million in financing to enhance the Nota platform, which employs AI imaging biomarker technologies for a variety of solid tumours as well as additional medical areas.
The software has previously been implemented by pharmaceutical companies like Bayer to examine imaging data from early-stage clinical studies.
Altis Labs’ Chief Exec, Felix Baldauf-Lenschen, said that “this partnership will help us execute on our mission to reduce the excessive time and cost it takes to bring novel, effective treatments to patients in need.”
Nota technology examines imaging data from studies to produce model forecasts that result in more effective insights much faster in the process.
According to Altis, this can influence the way the trial is set up, and aid developers in reaching crucial R&D decisions.
