Anachem highlights advantages of pipette technology

Anachem has underlined the benefits that its Rainin Pos-D pipette technology can potentially bring to professionals in the biotechnology and clinical laboratory sectors.

The medical device firm has positioned the Rainin pipette as a preferable alternative to air displacement-based systems when handling viscous or volatile liquids due to its improved safety performance.

It functions by utilising disposable capillary piston tips for greater sample security, while the lack of elastic air space within the pipette allows for accurate and precise sampling.

The firm also stated that the design of the device can offer protection against cross-contamination and damage, as internal parts are shielded from coming into contact with vapours.

Anachem added: “With the Rainin Pos-D positive displacement pipette, ease, speed, accuracy, precision and safety are guaranteed.”

Last month, the firm launched its new line of Rainin Pipet-Lite single-channel devices, which are designed to offer ergonomic and comfort benefits.
