Anachem highlights ergonomic benefits of LTS LiteTouch System

Anachem has highlighted the benefits its new Rainin LTS LiteTouch System can provide in terms of preventing strain when pipetting.

The manufacturer describes the technology, which utilises a conical tip and shaft design that reduces pipetting forces by 85 percent, as the "biggest innovation in ergonomic pipetting today".

It states that the system has been designed to help minimise the fatigue caused by prolonged pipetting, which can lead to repetitive strain injuries as well as reduced accuracy and productivity.

Anachem said it will be offering the LTS design across its full range of Pipet-Lite manual, EDP3 electronic, single and multichannel pipettes, for the same price as standard tips.

It described its offering as "a solution that greatly improves pipetting comfort and performance without costing any more than your current pipetting system".

Earlier this year, the company released the Rainin LiteTouch 1.7ml micro-centrifuge tube, which is also designed to offer ergonomic benefits compared to standard microtubes.
