Anachem launches 4titude FrameStrip PCR tube strips

Anachem has announced the launch of new polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tube strips that offer multiple benefits to life scientists.

The 4titude FrameStrip PCR tube strip range feature a dual component design, combining a rigid polycarbonate frame with thin-walled polypropylene tubes.

This helps to guarantee optimum levels of thermal transfer while ensuring mechanical stability, offering easier and more reliable handling when compared to single-moulded alternatives.

Anachem is offering the products alongside off-the-shelf 2D barcodes, enabling reliable data readings and sample management, while five different frame colours are available for ease of identification.

A choice of domed cap strips or flat optically clear caps are also offered to ensure compatibility with all thermal cyclers.

Last month, the firm expanded its range of 4titude-branded offerings with the launch of the Ergo Plate Stand, which has been designed to maximise ease of use and reduce the risk of repetitive strain injuries when pipetting.
