Anachem launches Rainin AutoRep S pipette

Anachem has announced the launch of a new manual adjustable repeater pipette that aims to be flexible, lightweight and accurate.

The Rainin AutoRep S provides a simple and ergonomic solution for any application requiring repeated liquid dispensing steps over a wide range of volumes, and has been designed to work with Encode Syringe Tips.

Volume selection can be performed one-handed thanks to its conveniently positioned stroke-setting wheel, while volume tables are attached to the back of the instrument to make the calibration of options as easy as possible.

Other benefits of the device include a syringe ejection key that ensures syringes no longer need to be manually detached, while its ergonomic grip and finger hook mean it can be held comfortably for long periods of time.

The manufacturer said: "With greater manual control, faster sample processing and higher throughput, the AutoRep S makes light work out of often tedious repeat pipetting."

Earlier this year, Anachem launched Good Pipetting Practice, a specially-developed five-step guidance programme aimed at improving liquid handling processes.
