Animalcare announces changes to corporate board

Animalcare has announced the appointment of Raymond Harding as a non-executive member of its board of directors, effective immediately.

Mr Harding is the former managing director of Cyton Bioscience, a multi-service consultancy for the animal health and pharmaceutical industries, while he has also headed a number of veterinary industry organisations.

His appointment coincides with the departure of Peter Warner, the company's chief financial officer and company secretary, who will be stepping down from his position before the end of the year.

Animalcare has already commenced the process of finding a replacement for Mr Warner, with further announcements to be made in the near future.

Stephen Wildridge, chief executive officer of Animalcare, said: "I would like to express thanks to Peter on behalf of the board and shareholders for his contribution to the growth and development of Animalcare over the last few years."

According to preliminary results released in September 2011, the company saw revenue growth of 5.4 percent in the year ending on June 30th, achieving a total of 11.8 million pounds.
