Ansell sells 500 millionth pair of HyFlex gloves

Ansell has announced that its HyFlex range of protective gloves have passed the 500 million mark in global sales.

The product originally launched in 1996 and has since become the top-selling glove of its kind in the world, seeing use across a wide variety of industries and winning widespread acclaim for their comfort.

According to the manufacturer, the HyFlex range is the most comprehensive light-duty synthetic portfolio available, utilising Zonz Knit Technology to reduce hand fatigue.

It now extends to 28 individual styles, with Ansell continuing to work on the development of new innovations and additions to the range.

Magnus Nicolin, chief executive officer of Ansell, said: "This milestone pays tribute to the HyFlex original brand concept, which is all about delivering protection and comfort without compromise."

This comes after the company announced the launch of its new Gammex powder-free surgical glove in Europe, following its successful introduction in Australia last year.
