Applied Biosystems technology to feature at ISSCR
Applied Biosystems devices designed for the stem cell research community are to be showcased at the forthcoming International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) annual meeting.
Life Technologies, owner of the Applied Biosystems brand, will be attending the event in order to demonstrate new workflow solutions for the sector.
These will include Applied Biosystems TaqMan Protein Assays, which can detect low levels of expressed proteins in a sensitive and accurate manner, as well as the TaqMan Protein Assays Open Kit for the creation of assays for chosen targets.
In addition, Life Technologies will also demonstrate a number of Invitrogen products, including StemPro MSC SFM XenoFree and GIBCO KnockOut.
Nicolas Barthelemy, president of the cell systems division at Life Technologies, said: “We are clearly demonstrating how Life Technologies continues to be the leader in advancing discoveries in the critical areas of stem cell research and regenerative medicine.”
Earlier this year, Life Technologies launched the Applied Biosystems ViiA 7 Real-Time PCR System, which is designed to improve accuracy and productivity in genotyping applications.
