Ascom receives Global Medical Devices Connectivity Technology Innovation Leadership Award

Ascom has received the 2022 Global Medical Devices Connectivity Technology Innovation Leadership Award from Frost & Sullivan.

Ascom offers a Medical Device Integration (MDI) platform that can be customised to work with any bedside medical equipment and interface with it.

Their magnetic connector and plug make data collection and incorporation simple, hence improving processes.

Devices that are constantly transferred from one bed to another are prone to damage that can compromise their integrity, but now Ascom have created a novel resolution to the problem.

All data is exported through the Ascom MDI Platform, which transports it via the cloud. Customers can also add a specialised alarm management system should they wish. To protect patients’ neurocognitive health, the company has created a dependable data chain that runs from medical equipment to the last communicator.
