Ashfield helps Beat promote Eating Disorders Awareness Week
Ashfield Healthcare Communications has highlighted its work with Beat, the UK's leading eating disorder charity, to support Eating Disorders Awareness Week.
The public health event ran from February 22nd to 28th with the aim of improving levels of education around eating disorders, particularly in terms of ensuring businesses and employers do more to support those affected by such conditions.
Beat worked alongside the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion to produce a best practice guide for employers, including literature for distribution in the workplace, with Ashfield providing pro bono design and communications consultancy services.
The agency also helped to create an infographic highlighting results from a survey showing that one in three sufferers experience stigma or discrimination in the workplace due to their condition.
Materials created by Ashfield were used extensively in Beat's digital communications and were also incorporated into displays for events.
Steve Hunt, digital strategy director at Ashfield Healthcare Communications, said: “We enjoyed collaborating with Beat to design and produce material for this worthy campaign. It's so important to present such powerful, hard-hitting data in a creative and readable way."
