Ashley Communications appoints director from Boehringer Ingelheim

Ashley Communications has announced the appointment of Philippa Moody, bolstering its senior leadership team.

Ms Moody joins the UK medical comms agency from pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim, where she held numerous senior roles, including that of marketing manager, and took the lead on a number of key strategic launches, reports PMLiVE.

Prior to joining Boehringer Ingelheim, she was employed by SmithKline Beecham – now GlaxoSmithKline – as a product manager with responsibility for international marketing and a focus on eastern Europe.

The agency has hired Ms Moody in order to take advantage of her proven expertise in strategic marketing and client insight.

Ashley Communications has been operating in the medical communications industry for nearly 20 years, having been established in 1996.

Its average client retention period is more than four years, and it is has experience of working with a number of leading brands, including Astellas, Baxter, Takeda, Teva, Merz Pharma and the European Urogynaecology Association.
