Aurora nominated for three industry awards

Aurora has welcomed news that it has been nominated for three prizes at a pair of forthcoming industry awards events taking place over the coming weeks.

The healthcare communications agency has been shortlisted for the specialist consultancy of the year accolade at the PRWeek Awards, which are organised by the industry publication PRWeek and will be held later this month.

Meanwhile, at the Public Relations Consultants Association Awards in November, the company will compete for the medium-sized consultancy of the year prize, while founders and co-owners Claire Eldridge and Neil Crump are in the running to be named agency heads of the year.

Aurora notes that all three of these awards are intended for agencies from all industry sectors, rather than only the healthcare field.

The company said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised in this way by the wider PR industry as well as by our peers in the health and pharmaceutical sector."

It comes after the firm claimed a pair of accolades at the Communique Awards earlier in July 2012, including the title of small independent consultancy of the year.
