AutoGen has introduced NeXTRACT 48, a fully automated workflow for extracting viral RNA and DNA, to their instrumentation portfolio.
The NeXTRACT 48 has been designed for the quick removal of viral RNA and DNA from a variety of samples, including UVT, VTM, and sputum. Forty-eight samples can be processed in twenty minutes, through the workflow, and eight-hundred samples can be quickly processed per day, providing consistent, swift and reproducible results.
The NeXTRACT 48, which is compatible with many COVID-19 real-time PCR diagnostic kits, produces archival-quality RNA or DNA with LIMS compatibility. The NeXTRACT 48 fulfils a need with just one instrument, with its ease of use, small footprint and capability to process eight-hundred samples per day.
CEO of AutoGen, Michael Messier, stated: “This instrument is a perfect addition for labs looking to supplement COVID-19 viral RNA extractions or to add a back up platform with low capital investment and operating cost. The NeXTRACT 48 provides a solution that customers have been asking for and it is reasonably priced and reliable. Of course, all of this will come with the same unwavering support and industry leading service that we’ve been providing for over 20 years.”
