Axol Bioscience launches new Custom Cell and Tissue Sourcing service
Axol Bioscience has announced the launch of a new Custom Cell and Tissue Sourcing service.
It will be available to researchers needing access to primary human cells and tissues that can be difficult to obtain, specifically in rare disease research or cases where specific donor criteria are required.
The company will provide cells and tissues to meet specific research requirements, facilitating the development of highly relevant cellular models that better reflect the biology of the tissue or disease.
A broad range of human primary cell and tissue types from healthy individuals and patient donors are offered, including a wide variety of primary cancer tissues, as well as cells associated with autoimmune, digestive tract, neurological, pulmonary, cardiovascular, kidney and bladder, liver and skin conditions.
All primary human cells are cryopreserved, while the tissue samples are fresh frozen, formalin-fixed or paraffin-embedded.
Dr Michael Prater, primary cells product manager at Axol Bioscience, said: "We're dedicated to ensuring our customers have the tools they need to generate biologically relevant cell-based assays that advance their research and we will endeavour to source samples that meet their experimental requirements."
