AXON appoints behavioural science expert to head up Brighton office

AXON Communications is to expand into a new office in Brighton, and has announced the hire of behavioural science strategist Andrew Martello as its director.

Mr Martello, who has expertise in the area of health and medicine-related behaviour, will expand the understanding of the firm in this particular area as he takes up his new role on the south coast.

Expressing his delight at joining the company, Mr Martello said: "A rigorous understanding and application of behavioural science will enable AXON teams to help our clients improve health outcomes through a deeper understanding of the factors that drive behaviours."

Managing director of Axon Miranda Dini explained that the "strategic" choice of Brighton as the location for the company's new office is due to the city's "wealth of talent and reputation as an innovation hub". 

The appointment of Mr Martello comes at a time when the profile of AXON has been growing. It was listed by PR Week as one of the seven UK agencies to watch in 2018.
