Axon Communications names new vice-president

Axon Communications has announced the appointment of Dr Tina Hahn as its new vice-president.

Ms Hahn joins the company from leading medical device manufacturer Coloplast, where she filled the role of global medical marketing director and oversaw various product launches and international media campaigns.

At Axon, she will operate from its Copenhagen base and will be responsible for building business relationships with international head offices of pharmaceutical and medical device companies in the Nordic region.

Ms Hahn said the company's integrated approach to medical communications, public relations, clinical trial support services and digital communications has impressed her in the past.

Meanwhile, international managing partner Ralph Sutton added: "We have had the opportunity to work with Tina as a senior client for a number of years and already know the strategic value that she can provide our clients and business."

Axon works with some of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the world, with AstraZeneca, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis among its client list.
