B Braun wins praise as top medical sector employer

B Braun has been named as one of the top companies in the medical technology sector to work for by an industry publication.

Medical Device and Diagnostic Industry magazine has named the firm among its top ten employers in this field for 2011, commending the organisation for its high talent retention rates and the range of perks it offers to staff.

Among the attributes singled out for praise are its educational assistance programme, its provision of health screenings and its commitment to the exchange of knowledge between workers.

Caroll Neubauer, chairman and chief executive officer for B Braun, stated that employee engagement is recognised as a key element of the company's overall business success.

He added: "B Braun is proud to be recognised as an industry-leading example of a collaborative culture with strong values that our employees embrace and appreciate."

During the 2010 fiscal year, the company experienced a 9.8 per cent year-on-year increase in sales, thanks in large part to strong growth in its Hospital Care and Aesculap divisions.
