Bayer launches new Pet Life app for healthcare management

Bayer has announced the launch of its new Pet Life animal health management app for iOS, Android and Kindle Fire devices.

The software is a free reminder app that allows pet owners to manage their pets' healthcare requirements using their mobile device. It stores the animal's vital information and reminds the owner when treatments and important appointments are due.

Owners can create profiles for all their pets via a single easy-to-use interface, and then input all relevant details relating to parasite protection treatments, vet appointments, annual boosters, insurance renewals and other important dates.

On-screen reminders will then prompt owners to complete or re-schedule treatments as necessary, even allowing them to directly contact their vet for medication from within the app.

The company said: "Instead of having appointments recorded on calendars, various mobile devices and pieces of scrap paper, owners can now store all relevant information in one place."

Pet Life is the successor to Bayer's previous It's a Jungle parasite prevention app, offering new features and an improved design.
