BCF Technology and partners hand over latest Vet Charity Challenge earnings
BCF Technology and its partners Kruuse and Vetoquinol have announced that the annual Vet Charity Challenge has passed a key fundraising milestone.
The team responsible for the event has handed over a total of 36,000 pounds raised via the 2014 challenge to SPANA, Cats Protection and Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, which will use the money to promote animal welfare.
It means the total raised in the past three years by this event has now passed 100,000 pounds.
On September 27th 2014, 47 teams from vet practices and industry organisations took part in physical and mental challenges in Pewsey, Wiltshire, with activities including walking, running, cycling, kayaking and orienteering.
Jason Rogers from BCF Technology said: "It is fantastic to be handing over such as substantial sum of money to three great charities today … It is also fantastic that we have broken the 100,000 pounds mark for money raised over the past three years."
This is evidence of the company's commitment to charitable causes, as evidenced by its frequent product donations to animal welfare projects and its good work via the BCF Foundation since 2010.
