BCF Technology hails success of Vet Charity Challenge
BCF Technology has detailed the success of the inaugural Vet Charity Challenge, a philanthropic event which it helped to support on September 15th 2012.
The firm allied with Kruuse and Vets2.net to sponsor the challenge, which saw veterinary professionals from across the UK taking part in team-based activities to raise money for good causes.
Events included walking, running, cycling, kayaking and orienteering, as well as various mental tasks, with the overall aim being to generate funds for organisations such as Hounds for Heroes, the Pet Blood Bank and the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad.
Participants praised the event as being well-organised, fun and competitive, with many expressing enthusiasm about taking part again next year.
Gavin Mitchell of BCF Technology said: "We hoped to raise over 20,000 pounds for some great causes. Speaking to a number of teams during the event, they had already raised well over their targets."
The Vet Charity Challenge took place in the same week that BCF Technology attended the annual congress of the British Equine Veterinary Association in Birmingham, where it was able to showcase a number of new products.
