BCF Technology helps raise record total through Vet Charity Challenge
BCF Technology has announced that the 2013 Vet Charity Challenge was able to raise a record 50,000 pounds for good causes.
The company allied with Kruuse and Vetoquinol to sponsor this year's event, which was held with support from VMPA and Mojo Consultancy, as well as media partner Veterinary Practice Magazine.
Taking place at Pershore College in Worcestershire on September 28th, the 2013 event saw more than 200 people taking part in various mental and physical challenges to raise money for three charities.
Events included walking, running, cycling, kayaking and orienteering, along with a variety of mental tasks.
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, SPANA and Animals Asia will be the beneficiaries of the fundraising initiative and will use the money to enhance the health and wellbeing of animals and their human companions.
Jason Rogers, BCF Technology's marketing manager, said: "The response we got for the challenge this year has been remarkable with double the number of teams we had in 2012."
