BCF Technology invites vets to take part in 2014 Vet Charity Challenge

BCF Technology has announced that spaces are still available for participants who wish to take part in this year's Vet Charity Challenge.

The event will be held at St Francis School in Pewsey near Marlborough on September 27th 2014 and consists of teams of four engaging in walking/running, cycling and kayaking contests, as well as some orienteering and mental/physical tasks.

It will be the third edition of the annual competition, which has raised more than 70,000 pounds for animal-based charities in past years. In 2014, proceeds will go towards Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad and Cats Protection.

The challenge is sponsored by BCF Technology, Kruuse and Vetoquinol. Although slots are currently available, prospective attendees have been cautioned that they will be filled quickly.

Gavin Mitchell from BCF said: "The Vet Charity Challenge is a great way to improve your teamwork in practice, get a bit fitter, have fun and raise money for some very deserving charities."

In 2013 alone, more than 50,000 pounds were raised by the event, a total that the organisers hope to exceed this year.
