BCF Technology sponsors bovine ultrasound course

BCF Technology has hailed the success of a recent bovine ultrasound course in Cheshire which it sponsored and attended.

The event took place at Mere House Farm and was attended by the John Dawson of Willows Veterinary Group, with nine delegates taking the course.

During the meeting, both lectures and practical screening exercises were conducted, with BCF's Easi-Scan and Easi-Scan remote monitor being utilised during the tasks.

Laura Stevenson, northern ultrasound sales engineer for BCF Technology, said the wireless monitor screen technology made the Easi-Scan well-suited for use on the course, as it allowed delegates who were not conducting the scans to view the images clearly.

"The delegates had plenty of opportunity for practical scanning throughout the day on a good range of cows, both early and late stages of pregnancy," she added.

Earlier this month, BCF received positive testimony from the 608 Vet Group in Solihull after it purchased one of the manufacturer's TruDR LX portable equine X-ray systems.
