BCF Technology X-ray system wins praise from UK vet

BCF Technology has received an endorsement for its Carestream Point of Care CR X-ray system from an animal health clinic in the South Hams.

The company supplied the equipment to Filham Park Veterinary Clinic last year and has been informed by the practitioner that it has provided numerous benefits since its installation.

Veterinary nurses Ray Male and Louise Higgins stated that the device offers high-quality images and ease of use, allowing files to be saved and transferred via email.

Surgeon Steve Grills added that the practice has begun taking more radiographs since the Point of Care system was implemented, due to the added ease of doing so.

"I wish we had made the move to digital imaging sooner, but am so glad that we have now," said Mr Grills.

This comes after BCF Technology helped the University Veterinary Hospital in Dublin to upgrade to a CR Classic X-ray system earlier this month.
