Beckman Coulter Diagnostics Acquires StoCastic

On October 11th, Beckman Coulter Diagnostics said that it had purchased StoCastic, a pioneer in AI and provider of evidence-based decision-making tools for the ED (emergency department) in hospitals.

A key component of Beckman Coulter’s Clinical Decision Support (CDS) offering will be StoCastic’s TriageGo. CDS is an up and coming area that strives to constantly progress patient care capabilities by providing data which enables doctors to gain a better understanding of each circumstance to improve clinical choices.

The TriageGo application easily combines conventional emergency department operations with automated health documentation structures.
TriageGo is able to shorten the amount of time it takes to make a decision in the ED, one example is by up to an hour for those undergoing emergency surgery.
