Bedfont Scientific congratulates ITL on business award wins

Bedfont Scientific has extended its congratulations to key manufacturing partner ITL, which recently claimed a pair of accolades at the Kent Excellence in Business Awards.

The firm was named science and/or technology business of the year during the event, as well as earning the manufacturing business of the year prize. Bedfont said this underlines why it chose ITL as a close collaborator.

Bedfont and ITL have been working together for a number of months to manufacture new innovative medical equipment for use in the healthcare sector.

This partnership involved the design and manufacture of the new NOxBOXi inhaled nitric oxide monitor and delivery system, as well as the GastroCHE4CK Gastrolyzer breath hydrogen and methane monitor.

Jason Smith, general manager at Bedfont Scientific, said: "Given the nature of our specialist equipment, it is essential we have the best manufacturing partner on board."

Founded in 1976, the firm produces a wide variety of breath and gas monitoring devices. It appointed Mr Smith as its general manager in May 2014.
