Bedfont Scientific nominated for Kent business of the year award

Bedfont Scientific has been nominated for this year's Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce business of the year award.

The medical technology firm has been included in the shortlist of three finalists for the accolade, with the overall winner to be announced at the Canterbury Cathedral Lodge on March 23rd 2011.

Sponsored by the University of Kent, the prize is open to all Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce members and non-members within the organisation's Ashford, Canterbury, Maidstone and West Kent trading area.

Jason Smith, UK sales and marketing manager at Bedfont Scientific, stated that it is a great achievement to be listed as a finalist for the title.

"It is a culmination of all the hard work and effort that our staff have put in during the last year to ensure Bedfont's continuing success in a very volatile climate," he explained.

Last month, the LungLife lung age and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease screening monitor from Bedfont was utilised on an episode of the Channel 4 health documentary series Embarrassing Bodies.
