Beiersdorf launches Eucerin DermoCapillaire scalp and hair care range

Beiersdorf has announced the launch of its new Eucerin DermoCapillaire scalp and hair care range, which tackles a number of common scalp problems.

The product line includes offerings that address issues such as thinning hair, dandruff, dryness, persistent itching and hypersensitivity, while also providing cosmetic care for the hair – a key concern for consumers.

Eucerin DermoCapillaire products have been formulated using Licochalcone A, a natural extract from the Chinese liquorice root, which demonstrated a strong anti-inflammatory effect in clinical studies.

They utilise a leave-on effect that allows them to combat the causes of scalp problems more effectively than traditional shampoos, which are generally only in contact with the scalp for around 30 seconds.

Stefanie Conzelmann, head of product development for dermocosmetics at Beiersdorf, said: "We used the optimum quantities of conditioning substances and active ingredients to restore the scalp's health without making the hair heavy, dull or greasy."

This comes after the firm recently launched Labello Repair and Beauty, a new balm that repairs lips and simultaneously provides them with a rosy shade.
