Beiersdorf launches new website for Labello brand
Beiersdorf has announced the introduction of a revamped online presence for its consumer lip care brand Labello.
The new website for the international product range has been live since the end of August 2011 and features a revised design consistent with the brand's current look, as well as a host of new content.
Among the new features of the site are more detailed product information and Flavour Creator and Stick Designer tools, which are designed to improve engagement with the brand.
Having introduced the global site, Beiersdorf will be rolling out individual affiliate webpages over the coming months, beginning with the Belgian, Austrian and German portals in the last week.
Julia Eberspacher, lip care manager at Beiersdorf, said: "We would like to strengthen our brand image as lip care expert and to help consumers connect with the brand through both the visual design and the entertainment section."
Last month, the company announced its financial report for the first half of 2011, during which it saw 2.6 percent year-on-year growth thanks largely to a surge in Nivea sales.
